Our fundraising teams are the biggest reason we are able to raise so much money and awareness. They spend all year organizing and holding their own fundraising events to donate as much money as they can to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. They are loaded with personality and unwavering passion. RIE RIE'S RIOT
Rie Rie's Riot has been the top team for over THREE YEARS. Marie Boyle and her team want to cause a riot! They are fighting hard to support their Marie and to raise money for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Rie Rie started her fight over 6 years ago and is WINNING because of YOUR donations and support. Let's keep the love, support and donations coming for 2022.
TEAM KATHY STRONG
Team Kathy Strong was our HIGHEST FUNDRAISER in 2017 AND 2016!! Their team raised $31,450 in 2017! They continue to raise money in memory of Kathy. They are a powerhouse fundraising team and they were pillar of support for Kathy! We are so proud and inspired by what they accomplished every year!

JILL'S DREAM TEAM
This team deserves special recognition every year.
Jill Di-Tommaso's brother Bill Romeo pulled this team together in 2016.
He called it Jill's Dream Team because he wanted to help keep Jill's Dream alive. Their team consistently raises over $10,000. They rasied almost $20,000 in 2022!!! We are so grateful to have Bill and his family continue to support Jill's Dream of finding a pre-screening tool for ovarian cancer.
TEAM BABS
Team BABS was started in 2012 to support their dear friend and family member Babs Wrighter as she fought her courageous battle against Ovarian Cancer. Babs was present that first year and vowed they would always be a vital part of this cause! Though she is no longer by their side, they continue on as promised. Each year they, and their ever-growing team of generous and dedicated people, walk for Babs and ALL women!
They have earned the Highest Fundraising Team Award for 2013 and 2014 and 2015. Their team has raised over $80,000 for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
KYLE'S RAYS
Kyle's Rays Team earned our Highest Fundraising Award in 2009, 2010 and 2012.
We appreciate their tenacity and their passion!
TEAM DENEEN
Team Deneen was formed to support Carol Deneen in her fight. Their team has raised over $10,000 to fight ovarian cancer. They have won the most spirit award for 2014. They have some very creative ideas...keep your eyes peeled...you may be the next "ducking" victim.
TEAM SOUTHPORT
Our Southport Peeps consistently bring the biggest team to our event. They come out in droves to support the battle against this silent killer. June Romeo is a proud supporter of her daughter, Jill Di-Tommaso, who founded the girlygirl P.A.R.T.S. 5k Run/Walk for Ovarian Cancer.
TEAM CINDY
Team Cindy holds a special place in the hearts of the girlygirl committee. Cindy McNaught was one of our committee members who lost her battle with ovarian cancer. We created a health tent that we named in honor of Cindy. She always said the research is what was keeping her alive. Thanks to TEAM CINDY for keeping her dream alive!!
SPECIAL K's CUPCAKES & COWBOYS
Karen Halloran's daughters and their cowboy friends joined forces to help Karen fight her battle against ovarian cancer. Karen loved the event so much that she has joined our committee!! She is a true gem and we are thrilled to haver her on our team!
